This Indenture made the twelfth day of August in the fifty fifth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and Fifteen, Between James Willington of Newport in the Isle of Wight and County of Southampton Gentleman Richard Mew of the same place Cabinet maker and George Mew of the same place Innkeeper of the one part and Robert Armstrong of Brading in the Isle and County aforesaid Butcher of the other part.

A Messuage or Tenement with the Garden and Backsides, eight lugs of ground in Brading bounded with the Kings highway on the south and the land of Edward Richards on the north part and the land of Elizabeth Thistlethwaite spinster on the east part.
