Newspaper letter re: right of Bailiffs to collect taxes, 1881.

BTT 1478 Letter from local newspaper relating how four inhabitants refused to pay Bailiffs annual tax for carrying on their businesses and retained Mr John Wilson Fardell to defend any legal proceedings as he suggests that they have no right to claim the taxes, 17^th January 1881.
