Sale details of Badger’s Bistro, 10 High Street, undated, but the letter code SA. 2955/68/10 would suggest 1968. Note that the picture attached to the R/H page shows the building at the corner of High Street and Quay lane which later became the wax museum, and not Badger’s Bistro.

This 17th century Coaching Inn has had several identities over the years: Gould’s Temperance Hotel, The Woodlands Hotel, A La Carte, Badgers Bistro, The Dark Horse, The Smart Fox, The Snooty Fox, The Red Lion, The Kynges Well.
